Ocean Equities raised £4 million for Nyota Minerals Limited (ASX/AIM: NYO), the East African gold exploration and development company. The funds raised will be used to complete a review of the Tulu Kapi gold project’s Feeder Zone and internal optimisation of the Bankable Feasibility Study ('BFS'), advance negotiations with the Ethiopian Government for the issue of a mining licence for Tulu Kapi and for general working capital purposes. The placing was undertaken jointly with Mirabaud Securities.
