Sam Spring, CFA, CA - Mining Analyst

Sam is Australian; he completed a commerce degree at the University of Melbourne before becoming a Chartered Accountant (ICAA) and a CFA Charterholder. He has over 10 years financial service experience (6 years in the UK) across various disciplines within the Goldman Sachs Group and Ocean Equities. In 2009, Sam won the Association of Mining Analysts (AMA - UK) Equity Mining Analyst of the Year, and is Ocean Equities' Australian repreentative based in Melbourne.

Christopher Welch - Mining Analyst

Christopher Welch holds a MSc in International Business Management, and a BSc (Hons) in Geology from University College London, and a Advanced Certificate in Economics from Birkbeck University. Before joining Ocean Equities, Christopher spent four years with Bloomsbury Minerals Economics as a copper analyst, prior to which he worked as a geologist in Lesotho.

Adam Lucas - Mining Analyst

Adam Lucas holds a Masters of Applied Finance from Kaplan Professional and a BCom in Corporate and Investment Finance from the University of Western Australia. Prior to joining Ocean Equities in May 2011, Adam spent four years with Fortescue Metals Group working as their Lead Financial Analyst.

Richard Nash - Mining Analyst

Richard Nash holds an MSc in Geology from Southampton University, with a specialisation in Economic Geology. Prior to joining Ocean Equities in September 2011, he spent three years in Exploration and Mine Geology working on a range of Exploration and Mining Projects spanning three continents with Stratex International, La Mancha Resources Australia and Equinox Minerals/Citadel Resource Group.

Lisa Coate - Research Assistant

Lisa Coate has completed a BA (Hons) Geography degree from University College London, focusing on economic and environmental Geography. As part of her degree she studied at the the University of Western Australia studying aspects of the natural resources industry as well as undertaking her thesis.
